I was born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, and came to the United States as a child with my family in search of greater opportunities.
Growing up, one of my neighbors was a dentist. I watched how people arrived in pain, embarrassed to smile, or afraid of treatment—and left relieved, confident, and genuinely happy. It wasn’t just about fixing teeth. It was about changing how people felt about themselves.
Seeing the impact dentistry could have on someone’s life inspired me at a young age. I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping people in that same way. That purpose has never changed. Every patient who walks through our doors has a story. Some simply want to stay healthy. Others have spent years hiding their smile, avoiding photos, or living with discomfort they’ve learned to accept. My greatest privilege is helping people move beyond those limitations—relieving pain, restoring confidence, and creating smiles that allow them to feel like themselves again.
